Providing step-by-step information needed in preparing for an international assignment, this program has been designed to confront the fears of the unknown. Having alleviated pre-departure concerns, the assignee and family can then begin the relocation process in an organized and well-informed fashion.
Each city-specific program consists of a series of talks, videos and reference material. There are also opportunities for extended question and answer periods in small groups as well as personal consultation.
The one-day workshop is conducted by an Orientations Consultant who has recently lived in the host location and will provide relevant first-hand information. The Consultant is then available to address concerns up to the relocation date.
Also open to HR personnel, these bespoke programs are developed according to each assignee's individual needs, but can be engineered to tie in with company policies, benefits and procedures.
This program is an economical and time-saving alternative especially suited for those unable to conduct a Area Orientation trip, or for organizations posting more than one family to the same location.
